Review: The Enchanted Greenhouse

The Enchanted Greenhouse The Enchanted Greenhouse by Sarah Beth Durst
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was such a cozy, magical escape and honestly just felt like a warm hug in book form. The island setting with all the enchanted greenhouses was so vivid and whimsical, and I loved discovering each one alongside Terlu. The whole vibe was soft, comforting, and full of quiet magic.
The romance was sweet and slow, and I really liked the grumpy gardener energy paired with Terlu’s curiosity and heart. The found family elements and second chance theme made it even more lovable. It did lean a little slower at times, but overall it was such a charming, feel good read that I didn’t want to leave.

Review: A Resistance of Witches

A Resistance of Witches A Resistance of Witches by Morgan Ryan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was such a unique mix of historical fiction and magic, and it completely pulled me in. The World War II setting added so much tension, and I loved how the story wove witchcraft into real historical events without it feeling out of place. Lydia was easy to root for, especially with how determined and stubborn she was, even when everything kept going wrong.
The journey across Europe kept things moving, and the found family vibes along the way were one of my favorite parts. There were moments where the pacing dipped a little or felt slightly heavy with detail, but overall it was still a really engaging and emotional read with high stakes, dark magic, and just enough heart to keep me invested the whole time.

Review: Roll for Romance

Roll for Romance Roll for Romance by Lenora Woods
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This was a cute and cozy read with such a fun concept. I loved the mix of real life and the D&D campaign, and the parallels between their characters and their actual relationship were really well done. The small town vibe and the gaming group made it feel super comforting and easy to sink into.
That said, it didn’t fully hook me the way I wanted it to. Some parts felt a little predictable, and I found myself wanting a bit more depth in both the romance and Sadie’s personal growth. Still, it’s an enjoyable, feel good story that’s perfect if you’re in the mood for something light, nerdy, and sweet.
