Review: Play Dirty

A thriller with a sci-fi twist and a hint of ex-military flavor. Throughout the book, I kept wondering when the AI was going to make its grand entrance? Mostly, it's this mix of small-town life and ex-military romance.

Towards the end, there it is—the AI is introduced. I like how it was woven in, especially in the epilogue, but honestly, I was hoping for more AI throughout.

Here's hoping the next book dives deeper into the AI now that we've already gotten to know the characters... Well, except for maybe Jack's team—they could use some more backstory.

I loved the main characters, but some of the spice dialogue was a bit cringy.

Despite those hiccups, I'm excited for the next one coming out later this year. Can't wait to see what's next!
